update

So I have my half of the website done. DC Saylor has her part done. Now I just need to work on the middle bit! So that's good news!

I've been writing bits and pieces of short stories. The end result: very disjointed writing that isn't very good. :( I'm going to have to step up my game.

I've also been working on figuring out what I'm going to say in my upcoming Vlog series for November's NaNoWriMo.

So things are getting done.

Also, Be Happy, Idiot is now available on the Border's Books Kobo eReader. :D

domain name

So I finally got around to purchasing D.C. Saylor's and my domain name. We now have BirchBarkPaper[dot]com. However, we're still playing around with images and layout options, so it's definitely not up yet. We plan to have the site up and running by the first part of July.

Later today I'm going to an eye appointment, so hopefully this means I'll get new contacts in the near future and whole bunches of other stuff. (Like maybe a pair of glasses!) We'll see though.

As for writing, I'm planning on getting another 2k done today (maybe finishing up Chapter One of Paper Fireflies?).

more and more progress!

Okay, so first: the website domain name will be purchased tomorrow! I've found a few stock images for free that I can use on my website (plus it's legal :D) so it should be great! I'll be playing around with those in a bit.

The BIG NEWS: Well, my book is coming out on MAY 30TH. Yes, that's correct, my first book Be Happy, Idiot is published and will be available for purchase in two days' time. So have those debit or credit cards in hand!

On the same topic, I will be foisting adverts up for it on every available surface, contacting the local library tomorrow, talking to my old High School's librarian (who is amazing) plus I'll be checking with the Jaquith Library (Marshfield Village Library [aka the town I grew up in]).

The third round of info: I've been thinking about the up-coming NaNoWriMo and thought it would be pretty cool to get myself a YouTube account and make daily videos about my progress throughout the month. That way friends and family can keep current with what I'm working on/doing and have input if they want! I actually can't wait to start, seeing as I think it'll be great fun :)

slow, but steady

Book One, The Series:

The Runner:

Why yes, I have been working on them a bit. I've been really working on the website with D. C. Saylor and publishing stuff, though, so it's okay that I've been a bit slow with these.
