But then I find something to distract myself with. Last night it was reading babb_chronicles and this morning it was teaching myself chords on the keyboard. Seriously, self--what the fuck? Stop saying that you're going to get something done and then go off and do something else entirely! It's a terrible habit, and I won't have you falling into it.

Oh damn, that keyboard's calling to me again.

Have I ever mentioned that I've always wanted to learn? Because I have. Since Chell hasn't been playing with it lately, I decided to use it. I taught myself the chords to Jewel's "Foolish Games" already, and played half of Yankee Doodle. Obviously I have not accomplished that much, but hey... it's a start, right?


Not that you guys really wanted to hear about my adventures with a keyboard... not of the musical variety, anyway.


Have I mentioned that I haven't slept in over 24 hours? Oh yeah, that might be why I'm so loony.

So the past few days I've been agonizing over the name for the series. I've thrown out every single thing that's either been suggested or I've thought up. Eventually, when I mentioned it to Chellis, he told me I was being an idiot. So now I'm not going to worry myself over a title, whether for books or the series as a whole. It'll come to me when it comes, I suppose.

Every once in a while I need a kick on the butt to get going in the right direction again.

However, the goal for tonight is 3k. I want to make it past 10k. Sounds good, yeah? Well, hopefully I can make it.

well now, I got some work done: I finished all of the background work I needed to complete (I didn't start anything new, I just finished the already started). But still, I suppose I need to focus my efforts on actually writing.
