Maybe I'm a Dreamer...

So I reached 7k by 12am; not quite my goal, but good enough. I'll get to at least 9k if not 10k by tonight. Since i got my MC (main character) out of the funeral/wake, it's been smooth sailing. Of course, I only have up to Chapter Four planned. I'm in Chapter Three right now. Hopefully I'll sit down before I start writing again and outline a few chapters ahead. I think there will be about 20 chapters in all. Hopefully. Maybe less.

In addition, I have backed up my novel on a flashdrive I bought for this specific reason. :D

PS. I love how when my best friend has a question like "what are the dimensions of a grizzly bear claw?" my wonderful boyfriend has the heart to go out and find out the answer so she doesn't have to take time out of writing in order to research it. He's positively amazing and I love him so dearly.

So, as an update of sorts: I'm still working at Waldenbooks, and it is ever so helpful.

I've completed Chapter Five, but I need to edit Chapter three, finish writing a piece of chapter four, then edit it, and edit five.

In addition, I reworked the name for the school. This one has stuck. I like it.

Freemason's School. Wow. Why didn't I think of the Freemasons before? They're a large aspect of the pagan/wiccan culture, plus they're referenced in various other religions as well as other areas such as architecture. Amazing, is it not?

In any case, as soon as I get more done (like not just planning out the chapters, but writing them) I'll update again.

Well, my study is closing but I will continue to write and use this journal. Lately I've been reading books similar to what my goal is with my own. Currently I'm reading the Bartimaeus trilogy.

Also I have written most of chapter 3: I only have the end confrontation scene between Tiernan and Lyki left. Chapter 4 I finished typing up what I already had written. Lately I haven't done much else.
