Converting this journal to be both original works and fanfiction based. First order of business: I've signed up for the Stargate Atlantis Reverse Bang. So fanfiction it will be.

451 into Chapter One; I'm working on fleshing out the plot and the Main Characters.

The 2nd floor of Damien's Wing is laid out. Need to put in furnishings and windows, also: stairs to the third floor. Otherwise, going good.

Now time to sleep. Damn night shifts screwing everything up...

Thinking about joining NanoWrimo later tonight. I might.

Also, I really want to start having word count goals for each day just like Dae has done. She seems to be doing an excellent job and I think I can do the same if I really buckle down.

I wrote a good section of Chapter One for Be Happy, Idiot this evening. I planned out the first three chapters as well. The Main Character is down pat, but the others are kind of up in the air (No pun intended). I know vaguely what the other Main Characters are and who they will end up being, but it isn't set in stone yet.

I've been slowly working on getting the first Chapter of "Atlas Shrugged", And I Died written, but it's difficult seeing as I'm writing off of prompts that were handed to me off of a website.

The Dwyre Mansion is looking awesome in Minecraft right now. We've gotten the Main House finished along with all the furnishings for the two penthouses upstairs. The courtyard is being difficult: it's all finished except the trees aren't all growing very big. There's one giant one and the rest are kind of like bushes in comparison. It makes the courtyard look lopsided. I'm trying to get the trees to grow correctly. The garden off the Guest Wing and the Pool/Tennis area off of The Golden Wing are finished (with some extras thrown in by Rusty, Lincoln and Chell. The first floor of Damien's Wing is all laid out and furnished. I plan to fix the courtyard trees later and work on the layouts of the Second and Third floors in Damien's Wing along with The Golden Wing and the Guest Wings' First, Second and Third floors.

All in all, I want to finish "Atlas Shrugged", And I Died, make Be Happy, Idiot my NanoWrimo project and get a large chunk of the Mansion built and ready for me to write about. :)

Been working on prompts. Also been trying to be active on TRIAD. Which means I've gotten tons of writing done, just not the right kind.

On the upside? I've been writing characters out of my norm. One is quite like Emmerick, so hopefully that will help me write him in the upcoming chapters.

I would like to see me writing more for my novels, but I'm just getting used to working 30-ish hours a week. Plus we're looking for a townhome and thinking about a puppy/dog coming into our life. That is, if we can financially support that and get what we want. I hope we can.

So, in watching Psych (through to Season 5) I've gotten some ideas for how Damien and Lyki will interact. Which is great, because I wasn't quite sure how to have them work together. At all.

I haven't really been writing, but I've been working on getting my muse back. The silly thing up and left me. Hopefully I'll get it back permanently soon.

Well, I sent off the first five chapters of my Series to my Dad so he could see if I have any continuity issues, or have anything that's unclear. I'll be sending more along as I get more written. Without further ado, I'll put a little exerpt here for people to read.

I've been working on either writing or getting a large section of backstory//history//info done. Tonight I was working on the TRIAD story, finished up the names and jobs of the different tiers of the Dark Guardians. The Grey Guardians are already finished, I just have the Light to do. Shouldn't be too difficult. I also got a page written... but it was from a middle section of the book. Not much help, and it might be totally revamped by the time I get there, but it's a start. I'm trying to get myself into gear with this whole process because it's a little sad that I haven't finished a single project yet. :(

Tomorrow I aim to get the Light Guardians sorted and look into continuing Alan's story. However, I will be busy most of the day with being with the hubby. :) It's a relationship strengthening day. Whoopie! I love these days :)

I honestly can't say I've gotten a lot done for this book, although I've almost finished chapter four, re-written chapter five, and have a lot of chapters 6, 7, and 9 written.

Mostly I've been working on a standalone book I'm taking to calling the "Triad" book. Three main characters, they fall in love with one another. I won't spoil anything else, but that's the main idea. My dad seems to think it will change the world.

I'm not so sure about that. My stuff is edgy as it is, but I just don't think that many people will read it.


Maybe, though. Maybe.

So I "revamped". A whole new layout with a nice feel to it.

I've almost completed a large portion of the background information. This upcoming week I can start finally writing, though! My Dad decided to fix up the "old" (new) computer that burned out. It had Vista as software, but once we changed it to XP all of the problems mysteriously vanished. Huh. I wonder why. I'll never get Vista again if I can help it. Anyway, so I'll have my own computer again. Finally. Wireless internet, the whole sha-bang.

I certainly did not expect to be as busy as I am over the summer. I haven't had time to sit down and write, although I could be blamed for not making the time to do so. I'm working a part-time job at Borders Books, and honestly I don't believe there's a better job. I love working there. Plus the benefits of the discount... I've been buying more books than ever. So I've been catching up on my reading. Particularly I've bought the first Harry Potter book in Spanish, I have yet to read it though. In addition I bought yet another manga series to try out (as my addiction is ever present), the first book in the Vampire Diaries, which I'm mostly finished; Skinny, a book told by two siblings: one with an eating disorder, one without; and Blood and Chocolate, probably made well-known because of the movie. I'm still in the process of reading the Warriors Saga.

In any case, I've been busy and I feel the need to wrap up chapter three. I think I can do it easily now that I have ideas for the confrontation between a conservative father and a cunning son.
