Chellis helped me out, the other day, with figuring out how the school was going to board the students. I said, "Absolutely no Hogwarts, you hear?" So we found a new way to go about it. There are five years that one attends the school and so we firstly separated them into years. Then, I said, well they need to be separated by gender. So each of the five years needs two dorms at least.

Chellis volunteered: what about putting houses in a village on the school grounds? I went a step further and said that there could be a small community there as well (stores, pubs, residents, etc). So tonight I drew out a bit of a map. It looks horrid and my artistic abilities are severely lacking, but it works for me.

I also came up with this little, tiny town's name. I translated "little fire" into Finnish, in case you're wondering. Relatively simple and kind of dumb, but hey, there are worse town names in the States, so I don't want to hear it. :P
