couldn't sleep...

So I started working on the novel Paper Fireflies. Katherine, the MC just decided to start opening up to me. Therefore, it's started being written. Also, for anyone who might be interested, I vowed at thedailywriter to write 25,000 words this month. Not as much as I'd like, but I have a vacation across the country planned for about a week this month. We'll see if 25,000 can get done.



As for Paper Fireflies, it's about a 14 year-old girl and her father in the aftermath of a house fire that claimed the lives of their dog and her mother. It's about how they deal with the grief and the changes and everything. It's plain fiction, this time. Nothing supernatural or fantasy-like about it.
