[[locations for school?]]

So I've been looking at detailed maps of Finland online. (mostly the google maps) And I've found possible locations for the school.
Raahe (Or out on the coast nearby)
Ruukki (This is more inland, by a river, and it seems to be a town/city)
Sankivaara (the banks of a river, has few apparent roads)
an Island of the coast near "Saha" (has one road "Laitakarintie") mid-Finland
the weather in Finland: average of 0 degrees in winter (usually below zero in winter nights, a few degrees above during the day)
summer: consistently above 10 degrees. Crazy cold!
why did I pick this location for the school again?

If you are interested, I can put you in touch with her when you have geographical, historical and cultural questions about Finland.
I was struck by your comment about the lack of roads and the river banks in Sankklvarra. I remember one road sign in Finland very well. It was triangular, sign-yellow with black symbol of a car going off the edge of a road into a river bank. No words were needed -- it was demarking the end of the road which was just ahead! :)
