Perhaps I feel like I don't know everything for the background I'd like to know, or maybe it's just that I know I won't like what comes out. Mostly I think it's the fear of change I have that's keeping me from writing. It's sad, but I'm almost afraid to write because I know it won't turn out the way I want it to. Then again, I know I have to plow through this and find a way to make it come out the way I want it to. So this weekend I'll force myself to do some rewriting/writing of scenes. Because this is getting rediculous.
As an 'aside' I have a Social Studies class that will help with the politics in the Series, and Theater will at least help with my distinguishing of voices. I also have all three Political Parties named:
"Aonghus", "Awair", "Koudou".
This also helped with getting the leader information prepared. I'll finish that up tomorrow. But seeing as I have lots to get done, I might or might not be able to write tomorrow. Sunday is free for writing though, beside it being Easter.

writing difficulties
Date: 2008-03-26 05:18 pm (UTC)All the writers I know feel this same sense of reluctance and fear. Some of them have published many books and have won big awards, but at times they're still scared to write. The books in their heads are never quite like the books that appear on their pages. They sit down and write anyway. Which I think you're entirely capable of doing...
